Episodes update

Here's an update on the first three stories from WIZARDS VS ALIENS Series One. Episodes will air on Mondays and Tuesdays on CBBC at 5.15pm. There will also be a repeat every Saturday morning at 10am.

As we announced previously, Dawn of the Nekross will air on Monday Oct 29 and Tuesday Oct 30. See promo pics HERE and HERE and read the synopses HERE.

Grazlax Attacks will air on Monday Nov 5 and Tuesday Nov 6.  Read the synopses HERE. Like the opener, this story is written by Phil Ford.

Rebel Magic will air Monday Nov 12 and Tuesday Nov 19. This story is written by Joseph Lidster and you can read the synopses HERE.

New Trailer!

A new trailer for WIZARDS VS ALIENS was shown earlier tonight on BBC One - watch it in the player above. As we announced yesterday, the first episode airs on Monday October 29th (with the second airing the day after) on CBBC.

Air date!

The very first episode of Wizards Vs Aliens Series One, Dawn of the Nekross Part One, will air on Monday 29th October on CBBC. Dawn of the Nekross Part Two will transmit a day later on Tuesday 30th October on the same channel. A time has yet to be announced but will be confirmed in the coming days.

Grazlax Attacks synopses

The BBC have released the synopses for Episodes Three and Four of Wizards Vs Aliens Series One. The two-parter is titled Grazlax Attacks and will air on Nov 5 and Nov 6 at 5.15pm.

In episode three, Grazlax Attacks (Part One), Tom’s quiet Saturday at Benny’s house becomes a thrilling fight for their lives when the vicious alien Grazlax hunts them down. The two boys must learn to fight together, combining Tom’s magic with Benny’s science, or the Nekross’s savage pet will succeed – and devour them!

In Grazlax Attacks (Part Two), the Grazlax is out of control! But Tom’s used up all of his magic, and Benny’s scientific genius is useless against a creature from beyond the stars. It’s a race against time for both humans and Nekross, as the Grazlax menace grows – but will stopping the rampage leave any survivors at all?

The first story from the first series of Wizards Vs Aliens has premiered at the BFI in London and the the synopses for both parts have been released - check them out below.

Dawn of the Nekross (Part One)
Tom Clarke is hiding a secret - he's a schoolboy wizard! But when the magic-eating alien Nekross arrive on Earth, a battle for survival begins. Tom must use his magical powers to protect his family - but only the school geek, Benny, can help him against the plans of the terrifying Nekross King.

Dawn of the Nekross (Part One)
With his gran trapped in outer space, Tom and Benny must dare to go inside the mystical Chamber to ask the mysterious Randal Moon for help. But with time running out for Ursula, and Tom's dad joining the fight, can even a magical hobgoblin fight an enemy from beyond the Earth?
